While visiting Augusta recently, I picked up a copy of the March 30 issue of verge – very well done


Before visiting, I read with interest that Augusta is called the “Garden City.” I thought that was wonderful because I have a keen interest in gardens and have visited gardens all over the world. However, when I tried to locate a public garden in Augusta, I came up empty-handed. The March 30 article regarding The Augusta Botanical Gardens helped me understand.
It was with some dismay that I learned that Augusta has let a botanical garden go to rack and ruin.
